From a life-changing diagnosis to representing Great Britain across multiple sports
Early Life & Diagnosis
Diagnosed with muscular dystrophy at the age of 14, Freya faced a life-changing moment that would ultimately shape her future in ways she never imagined. Rather than seeing this as a limitation, Freya chose to view it as an opportunity to explore new possibilities.
Having previously played county-level football and rugby, Freya's transition to disability sport wasn't just about finding new ways to compete—it was about discovering a community where she could thrive and inspire others to do the same.
